Summary
The witches Billy and Agatha journey to a monster-haunted world in search of something powerful enough to defeat a demon. What they find is the Murk, an eldritch being with unknown powers and inscrutable motives. They can only hope that in calling on its aid against Mephisto they haven't unleashed something even more dangerous on the Earth.
Mephisto attacks the Avengers trying to get to a mysterious teenager named Shepherd, who doesn't remember his past and has no clue why demons are after him.
Wanda learns that the demon Mephisto has resurrected her twins for his own twisted purposes. She will do everything in her power to protect them, even if they never know who she is.

Johnny's worries didn’t cease when Daken left him. It never took much effort to get him pressing close and asking if he was okay, what did he want, is there anything he can do? He was so good.
He was so good and Daken didn’t need him anymore.
The wise thing to do would be to walk away . . . but Daken isn't used to being denied what he wants.

The man was a monster, even Johnny knew that. He was violent and power-mad, a scheming manipulator who was willing to do anything to get what he wanted. His saccharine smile hid a lifetime of death.
He was also the one who had given his niece the nickname of ‘Honey Badger’. When he'd faked his death years ago, he'd revealed himself to Johnny, despite the inconvenience it caused him, for what? To make Johnny feel better?
