Summary
Cat Grant gets Kara a place as a contestant on the newest reality show, Mystery Mistress, a spin-off of The Bachelorette with two little differences: the bachelorette is posing as a contestant and everyone is wlw (meaning a bunch of lesbians and bi ladies make up the contestant pool).
Kara is there to write her article for Miss Grant and nothing else (she isn't really the greatest at romance-y things), and she doesn't even really expect to make it past the first round of eliminations. Plus she keeps disappearing to be Supergirl, much to the camera people's annoyance.
Lena is there because she plans to take over LuthorCorp soon, and Sam and Jess insisted it would help her image once it was all over since no one really knows anything about the mysterious Lena Luthor except for her name and her family's sins.
Neither expect anything much to happen, at least not until they meet each other. ;)

Summary

In this world Kara has grown up splitting her time between winters with the Danvers family in Midvale and summers spent working on the Kent farm outside of Smallville. As a result, she’s grown up tall and strong and somewhat different from the other girls around her.
Now she faces an uncertain future as she tries to figure out who she is and who she wants to be. All she knows is that she prefers dress shirts over dresses and sneakers over heels and along the way she meets a certain Lena Luthor who becomes her friend and biggest supporter.
Alternate Universe Supercorp story set when our two favorite dorks are on the cusp of adulthood and meet way earlier in their lives. Will Kara be a good influence on Lena and help her prevent Lex’s fall to the dark side and will Lena help Kara on her way to becoming a hero in her own right while also embracing who the blonde truly wants to be?

“How could I celebrate? You’re leaving…” There was bitterness in her voice.
“Sam-”
“You can figure it out, Lena. You and Kara can talk and-” the desperation was clear in her tone, but was soon cut off.
“She lied to me! They all did!” Lena exclaimed, looking hurt at her friend. “And they keep on doing it…they smile and lie to my face as if it is nothing…Kara-” Her voice trembled and a few tears rolled down her cheeks. “Kara smiles and tells me she’d never hurt me, but at the same time she lies to me and uses me…”

Lena leaves National City hoping to mend her broken heart. She finds so much more than she could've predicted, and she starts a new life with a new love.
