Philza struggled to keep standing straight, dizzy from blood loss, a white-knuckle grip on his sword.
“I have heard much of you, emperor Philza, and I have respect for you. Therefore, I’ll offer you a deal. You will surrender. You will kneel before me, right here, right now, and beg for mercy. Then I’ll take you to the Nether with me, and you’ll become my prisoner, slave, and personal servant. Or-”
The Blood God raised his netherite blade, pointing the tip straight at Philza’s heart.
“-I will allow you to die with a sword in your hand, and once you’re dead, I will slaughter your children.”
Philza fell to his knees without hesitation.

Philza had been prepared for a lot of things when he was taken as a war prize: the loss of his basic freedom, the heartbreak of being separated from his sons, the indignity of being reduced into the piglin king’s “pet”.

What was supposed to be a simple summer internship at a science facility changes completely after Tubbo is attacked by a strange black-and-white creature. As it’s deemed he knows too much already, Tubbo is officially brought onto Project Rainbow, a top secret research study aiming to unravel the mysteries of this peculiar being.
However, what Tubbo has been told is nothing more than an animal seems much more intelligent than it ought to be. Perhaps he should undertake his own research on the odd creature.

One ship, just one, and Penelope stood on the clifftop near her husband’s palace and looked down upon the harbor below, and clenched her fist in her himation until it was wrapped around her so tight that it was imprinting its weave pattern onto her skin. Just one ship, and the men she could see disembarking were too few to be fifty, and none turned to hare instantly up the hill towards her.
Penelope turned away to head into the palace, to wait for the bad news to find her.

"Techno!" Phil hissed in alarm, darting over to pull him away from the puddle of potion. "Techno are you okay, what was that, can you tell? Are you hurt?"
Techno frowned, blinking and shaking his head to clear it. "Um... No, no, I don't... My head's a little fuzzy, but nothin' hurts."
Some of the tension drained from Phil's shoulders, and he grinned up at Techno. "Well, that's good, at least."
Phil had a nice smile.
"You have a nice smile," Techno blurted. Why didn't he say that more often? He thought it often enough.
Phil's grin faltered. "... What?"
