The plot, such as it is, is that Meddling Old Men in Konoha dig up an Old Olde Law that basically demands something Awful of Kakashi as the Last of his Line.
Minato takes such offense that there's really only one option: grab Kakashi, ditch Konoha, and never look back.
Update: now there are multiple options with multiple endings! it's become a choose your own ending story. All chapters are completely unrelated, except to the first one.

Summary
There are moments in life when a person has to step back and take in how strange living on this planet truly is. Yamato did just that, letting the surrealness of his situation wash over him like a tidal wave.
Here he was, an ANBU operative with the ultra-rare Wood Release ability, being insulted through his bachelor pad's dingy bathroom by Sakura, a child who was distantly related to the person who gave him the ultra-rare Wood Release ability through years of unethical experimentation.
A child, who apparently had a vocabulary large enough that Yamato was forced to pull out a dictionary to find out that he was being called an idiot.
All because he broke his goddamn leg a few weeks back.

Summary
Instead of dissolving with Viktor like Jayce expected, he gets sent a decade into the past when Viktor didn’t even know him yet. Of course the logical action to take is to kidnap him. Meanwhile Viktor, twenty-two years old, figures that hey, as long as he can research magic, this isn’t too bad of a predicament.
Or: Post-Season 2 Jayce and Season 1 Viktor, the grief of having lost your soulmate while having to look at his younger version who doesn’t even know you, the endless exhaustion of being a second-hand love and also science.

He'd done this once before, however Jayce had been the one leading, not the other way around. He tried to feel out what he remembered from the last time and what he’d seen Jayce do to himself, this felt so much more intimate than before. Maybe it was the enclosed space and its privacy, maybe it was the way Jayce looked at him like he held the world upon his shoulders. Viktor tried to shut out the swarm of thoughts to simply focus on Jayce and his pleasure. He moved the rod and felt its absence where his thumb had been pressed against Jayce's length, then pushing it back in he felt the hole fill and Jayce squirming under his fingers.
“Fuck. Feels so different when I'm not–” he groaned deep in the back of his throat and Viktor felt the sound go right to his own dick.
“Patience, Jayce,” he cooed, just getting used to the feeling himself. “You've been so good so far.”---
