Summary
Deputy Diana Baker ends her very first month on the Hope County Sheriffs’ Department thrust into a war she isn’t prepared for. While trying to rescue her colleagues who’ve been abducted, she is also doggedly avoiding the influence of the doomsday cult that tries, with claws and teeth, to draw her in. The more violence she is subjected to - and willingly commits - the more she feels a long-buried monster coming to life inside her. Summary
It all starts when Mikey decides to take a walk on his way back from his last appointment with Bonten. He was tired and looking for a place to wander around without being bothered by someone. Instead, he finds a child crying in the park which brings him more problems than the peace he has hoped for at the beginning of the night.
At the same time, maybe having this kid by his side is not all that bad. Not that Mikey would dare to admit it.
