Summary
Tigers are solitary creatures. In their society, there are no courtships or marriages. They are free and act accordingly. They are fierce, proud, passionate... they don't bind themselves to anyone.
If Omega tigers want to conceive offspring, they must participate in a mating duel during the mating season. Any other way is a serious violation of the rules. Omegas sign up for the duel and hope to attract the attention of an Alpha who will be willing to donate genetic material to them. If that indeed happens, the Alpha's name is recorded alongside theirs. However, Omegas do not know the identity of the Alpha. Only the village scribe, who is in charge of this event, knows it.
Omega Kim Taehyung is the oldest Omega in the village without a kitten. Under pressure, he signs up for the duel, even though he doubts that any Alpha would even care about him. And indeed. Not one, but several men are sharpening their claws for the beautiful Omega. Whoever defeats Taehyung first in the duel will become the father of his child. Summary
On most days Kim Seokjin would say he doesn't care. He didn't exactly begrudge having presented as an omega. But when one had an unplanned pregnancy, was a fresh graduate, with limited job options, then housing was even more limited. And indeed he did find one such alpha and omega making out right in front of his door, seemingly trying to slot a key into his door's keyhole as they were practically already stripping one another of their clothes. He didn't even have to guess about their subgenders. The smell of their arousal was reeking up the entire corridor. His own omega instincts were prickling annoyedly at the overwhelming odor. He didn't particularly care what they got up to. But he did wish they at least had the decency to not do it in a less private area as the hallway, especially not in front of his apartment door.

A heavily pregnant Seokjin moves into an apartment complex, the only affordable housing he could find. These flats house university students & he comes across a pair of them going at it in the corridor where the omega's one room flat is located. This is Seokjin's first encounter with campus's infamous fuckboy Kim Taehyung.
