The staff member who runs the office, the legendarily vindictive Mr. Verlaine, is a lost cause. That’s not a problem though, because Dazai knows exactly how to circumvent him. All he needs to do is befriend his little brother, Nakahara Chuuya.

    Chuuya, however—"I told you not to call me that, asshole!"—is intent on making that as difficult as possible.
