The worlds administrated by House Gautier have long been part of the bulwark between the Inner Sphere and Clan forces operating out of Sreng. Whether it’s the occasional raid from Clan Wolf, a host of crusading Jade Falcons intent on purging the galaxy of freebirth vermin, or the most recent incursions by Smoke Jaguar forces, fighting the clans has always been one of the principal duties of any member of the Gautier family.
But this latest series of attacks has Sylvain worried. The Kingdom of Fearghus may be at its strongest in decades, and the Star League may be once again on the rise, but tensions are high, and the stakes higher. This fight isn’t one he can win alone.

It was supposed to be a straightforward operation.
Bust into an Enclave outpost, neutralize the guards, make their way to the room with all the big computers and stuff, and download every last bit of data they could get their hands on regarding potential Enclave “take over the world while twirling our mustaches”-brand tomfoolery.
“Straightforward” has never necessarily meant “easy,” of course, but the last part should have been the simplest.
