“It’s just an old reel of me and Hwa,” Hongjoong said, flipping the phone around and proving it. His hyung looked at it for a moment and then shrugged.
“Whatever. If you wanna look at photos of your…best friend,” he whispered, keeping his voice down, though he waggled his eyebrows. “I won’t stop you. It’s cute, honestly. I also look at pics of my wife when we travel. But only the innocent kind. She’d kill me if I had anything else where someone could find it.”
“Hyung,” he whined, thunking his head back against the seat and groaning. “I’m getting some sleep for real this time,” he stated, serious now. His hyung shrugged and got up to go find the bathroom leaving the producer to click off his phone and close his eyes.
Wife… He snorted, pulling his hoodie up around his face to block out some of the light. He’s not my wife.
But the thought stayed there, latched onto his brain.

Summary
Hyunjin is always alone.
A fine arts major at University, he lives with his best friend Chan. He's got a solid group of friends: Jisung and Minho who have been dating for years (they're basically married), Felix and Jeongin who are dance majors, and Seungmin - their resident savage and vocalist.
But Hyunjin is a homebody and an introvert. He does most things on his own and doesn't mind it. He sees his friends, makes art, goes to work and class. His life is full but there's just.... Something missing.
He's a romantic at heart. He thinks about what it might be like to find his person but it's never happened and he doesn't think it will. It's just a fuzzy dream in his head.
Then Chan introduces him to his and Jisung's new producer friend, Changbin, and he has to rethink some of the things he's always believed.

“I did some recon for you,” Felix says, grinning mischievously. “He’s an art history adjunct professor who works in Minho Hyung’s department sometimes, he’s gay, and he’s single.”
“What makes him my type?” Changbin doesn’t usually go for academics. He’s loud and goofy and athletic, which aren’t typically traits professors and grad students seek out in their boyfriends.
“You’ll see,” Chan says and turns to scan the room, looking for Changbin’s ideal mate among the crowd. “There!” He points to the bar on the other end of the ballroom. “He’s ordering a drink.”
There, talking to the bartender, is the most beautiful boy Changbin has ever laid eyes on in his entire life.
