Summary
After the Battle at the Storm Spire, Janai returns to the shattered city of Lux Aurea. Amaya comes with her. Both are determined to make amends for past mistakes and guide their countries into a better future. Neither knows exactly how to do that. Their growing feelings of mutual attraction only complicate matters. How can they develop a relationship while rebuilding a nation, fighting dark forces, and realizing how much they have to learn about each other?
Amaya/Janai. Takes place in between Seasons 3 and 4. Canon compliant to the show, partially canon compliant to the official short stories. -

Summary
Amaya's nephews are perfect just as they are. That’s what she tells Sarai and Harrow whenever the two of them worry about the kids. Nothing can stop her from loving them. Not Callum’s tantrums or Ezran’s frequent illnesses. Not watching Ezran drift into sleep while Harrow sings to him. Not Callum talking so quickly she can’t read his lips and has to remind him to sign. Even Sarai’s death, when it comes, doesn’t lessen her love for the boys. It just changes it.
A oneshot fanfiction exploring Amaya's feelings about her nephews and, later, her feelings about the child she has with Janai.

She was being carried. The sounds of carnage and screams hadn’t stopped but sounded more muted from that of the extermination.
Whoever was carrying her smelled like crisp apples and fall.
The pain ran through her body in waves like she had never felt. The last thing she remembered feeling was the softness of fabric under her, then around her. The loss of the warm body replaced by, what she assumed, were blankets.
