People think he’s crazy because he sees monsters and strange animals no one else can. He talks too low or too loud. He runs too far or not far enough. He laughs at the wrong things. He doesn’t know about God the way the other kids do, and what he does know he doesn’t really care about. He doesn’t have friends, but that’s okay.
He has his fish.

If you like this kind of story you’re probably desperate enough to check every new one out, if you don’t, I know there is nothing at all I can say to convince you to read this one, and if you don’t know what a reaction fic is and simply start this one out of curiosity , I might be the one to drag you into this rabbit hole.
If that’s the case, I am deeply sorry, and good luck. It’s pretty hard to leave this trope behind once you’re into it.

Maybe sending a child after another person who is displaying unhinged behavior and took him out to the woods to kill him the last time they saw each other. Is not the smartest idea Hermes.
OR
Percy appreciates the concern from the sea side of his Dad's family after the fight with Luke on the Andromeda. Really he does. But as nice it is to have someone else besides his mother fussing over him. He also would just like some rest that isn't supposed to be doing camp activities.
