“You okay there, Curly?” Louis leaned against the counter next to him, eyes dancing.
Harry nodded, “Yup, yup, I’m good. Just, um, like to make sure my resting heart rate is normal, you know? My lo mein was spicy.” God, he really talked some shit.
Louis reached out, pulling Harry’s wrist away and replacing his fingers with his own. Well, now he was fucked. Louis’ fingers were soft, so soft, and causing his heart rate to skyrocket erratically.
Harry was about to force himself to take a step back just as Louis’ fingers twitched. They locked eyes as a thumb brushed over his Adam’s apple and his lungs collapsed altogether when it slowly pressed down. With wide eyes, Harry watched Louis’ flicker to his throat for a split second before it was over, so quickly as if it hadn’t happened. As if he hadn't just put pressure on Harry’s throat.
What. The. Fuck.

Summary
PART II – when the time is right
“Harry, how do you love someone?”
“I suppose love comes from a plethora of things, some people simply describe it as a feeling or an emotion while others experience love in every little thing their partner does. For me, just being with the other person and feeling comfortable around them can be enough to call it love. Trusting someone, for me, is a form of love, but if you’re talking about that unconditional longing, the intense emotion that could potentially overtake every single one of your senses… I cannot teach you that, but I promise you, you’ll know it when that happens.”
And he had. Harry knew when he fell in love with Louis Tomlinson, the singer who had to go back to his life in England after three beautiful months together. Since then, Harry hadn't been the same. He needed finality, he needed to move on, to let go of the man who had made Harry second-guess every choice he had ever made in his life.
There was only one solution to his problems, he had to say goodbye to Louis. He had to find closure, and that's why he found himself back in England...

“I think… that you want to do this thirty day thing, but you don’t want to say we have a problem, and I understand that,” Louis said, taking another step forward. “I also think… that I haven’t been able to stop thinking about how good you felt last night.”
The last one was like Louis wrapping a livewire around Harry’s wrists; sudden and shocking, leaving him breathless.
“I think that you are the most beautiful man in the world, and that a month of sex with you will be the easiest challenge I’ve ever set for myself.”
These were strange butterflies that had taken up a place in Harry’s insides; not first date nerves or first time jitters, not any of the myriad of little excitations and anxieties he'd felt with Louis over the years. Somehow, here, this ordinary autumn day, was something brand new after years of familiarity.
“I’ve been thinking,” Louis said, so close they were touching, so close Harry could feel the words against his throat, “that I’ve been wanting to get my mouth on you since I left the bed this morning.”
Harry panics, Louis gets what he wants, and the 30 Day Challenge begins.
