Summary
This fanfic was inspired by Romeo and Juliet but without the death and violence. Nick and Charlie are at Truham. They are a little bit older than in the original work and the timeline is similar but not the same. They are each a member and head of a rival group. The story is full of pranks and shenanigans. Although our two boys, Nick and Charlie, are on opposite sides of the social order, they find their way to each other when a prank goes wrong. The angst is mild, but the fun is wild.

Summary
Nick Nelson knew Charlie Spring since childhood. He was there when Charlie got admitted in the school's music club, when Charlie told him about his orientation or when Charlie falls in love for the first time.
Realising his feelings would never be reciprocated, he suppressed them and cheered on his best friend instead.
But when Charlie had his first heartbreak and got on a verge of losing it all, Nick couldn't stop himself to let Charlie know how much he means to him.

Thick, twisted fingers reach out to grab me as I walk – branches that whip and jerk in the wind as they attempt to hold steady against the weather. To my left, the broken shutters of a long-closed-down shop have layers of graffiti decorating them. soulmarks crudely scrawled onto the metal with the owners’ phone numbers written underneath. I wonder whether that tactic has ever worked.
