"The little town of Remington is surrounded by country roads and wooded lands. The closest city is fifteen miles away and consists of criminals, rejects, and dilapidated buildings. The miles of trees, undergrowth, and wildlife that separates them are perfect for two kids and their wandering adventures.
'I mean, it's super obvious he likes her,' Ada reasons as she clambers over the top of the ledge. 'I don't know why he won't just ask her out. Everyone else figured it out years ago.'"

Summary
"Crawford Manor is said to be haunted by Ophelia Browning, a young college student who entered the grounds some twenty years ago and was never seen again. Teenagers, of course, enjoy stealing up to the door and saying hello to her ghost, much to the chagrin of the local authorities. And Melanie Deveraux would never shy away from breaking a few rules if it meant she could have a little fun.
So where else would she be but standing before the double doors of Crawford Manor, excitement battling the chilly November air?"

"'There's a body for you downstairs,' Cassia's mother announces, wiping the blood from her hands as she passes the open bedroom door. 'All set and ready for you.'"
"Her words spark a flood of excitement in Cassia, and she springs from her bed to follow her mother down the stairs and into the kitchen. Her fingers itch to snatch up the scalpel, to dig under the skin and see what lies within the corpse."

Summary
Toby wears long sleeves to cover his arms, layered by large sweaters to hide himself and his body, and skips meals on regular. Claire has bloodshot eyes and black rings beneath them, a nasty habit of looking for trouble, and keeps her headphones on all night to drown out the quiet of her home. Jim never gives himself even a moment to rest, or shows his true feelings about anything, and quite literally would rather die than be a burden to others.
(Three teenagers meet, one by one, in a hospital.)

Summary
Daryl Dixon scares the hell out of you climbing out of that damn creek. It takes hauling his ass halfway across Georgia and taking a bullet for him to realise that you're not half bad. He slowly starts to come around, despite grumbling about how much he doesn't like your singing, or that you can't use a gun for shit - and don't get him started on that ugly yellow tent of yours. It takes him a while before he starts to see for himself that he's found a best friend for life, and that he doesn't actually mind the colour yellow that much, after all.

He remembered the screaming, the night Kíli was born. There was a midwife in the village, but his mother was too proud to ask for help from those who were not her own kind. Fíli didn't know it, but if Dís had still been at Erebor when her time came, she would have been attended in a comfortable chamber with steaming hot water, clean linens, and the most attentive and knowledgeable healers. Instead she gave birth squatting on the shabby floor of their cottage, grunting and screaming with only Fíli there, and he was terrified because he didn't know what to do.
