Steve blinks. “What?”
Natasha rakes her gaze over him like she’s peeling back skin; like she can see something he doesn’t know how to hide. “You’re pretty calm about dying, Rogers,” she says. “What was it you said back there?”
“You get killed,” he hears himself say, “walk it off.”
“I’ve always been pretty calm about it. They told me that back in the Commandos too. Surely, you understand.” He’s read her file. He knows where she’s coming from.
“Death never comes naturally, Rogers.” She narrows her eyes. “Not even to me.”
“It helps me to pretend like it does.”
“Don’t you dare get used to it, Captain,” she tells him. “It won’t do you any favours. Trust me.”
Steve just nods. “I understand,” he lies.

Summary
SCP-8011, also known as DLS or the “Dimension Leaping Syringe”, is a clear liquid created in another dimension with anomalous properties that, when the proper dose is injected into the ear of a subject while in our dimension, will transport the subject to its dimension of origin (also known as Earth 1), along with all items on the subject’s person at the time of injection. The sum total of SCP-8011 in Foundation custody is currently contained in 2 syringes of equal volume made from non-anomalous materials, though it is unknown exactly how much of the liquid is as of yet uncontained. If another dose of SCP-8011 is administered while the subject is in the dimension Earth 1, the subject will be transported to our dimension (also known as Earth 2). SCP-8011 is only capable of transporting subjects between Earth 1 and Earth 2. Chemical testing of a sample of SCP-8011 is currently underway.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-8006 is to be contained in a standard humanoid containment cell. At least 2 Foundation staff must be guarding its cell at all times, and these guards must be in communication with a third guard watching the cell’s cameras. SCP-8006 must be accompanied by at least 4 Foundation staff when outside of its cell. It must be addressed as “Ed” or “Edward” during interviews so as to keep it calm and cooperative.
