Summary
Life goes on as usual. (Not) paying the rent late, going to a pachinko parlor and eating strawberry parfaits are a part of Gintoki"s daily routine. But as of late, a new habit wormed its way in his peaceful everyday life. He wakes up every night in a cold sweat gasping for air. After waiting with bated breath, he hears the sounds of Kagura and Sadaharu"s breathing coming from the closet. "They"re here." No longer able to sleep, he throws off his covers, gets dressed and picks up his bokuto.
The spring night is cold and his breath clouds the air before him. He stands in a pristine meadow, almost in a daze.
And underneath the moonlight, he starts a fervent sword dance.
