Summary
Xiao is not this yaksha's true name, but a name given to him in the interests of his own protection.
Back in a younger, more naive time, a god had gotten a hold of Xiao's weakness and forced him to serve as their bloodhound. Many died at his hand but as much as it pained him, he was helpless to resist.
Rex Lapis liberated the yaksha and gave him the name "Xiao."
"In the fables of another world, the name Xiao is that of a spirit who encountered great suffering and hardship. He endured much suffering, as you have. Use this name from now on.”

Summary
First it was Osial… then Azhdaha… Two ancient gods who had been sealed away for centuries are now being awakened. Xiao knew that there is no such thing as a coincidence. He could only come up with one explanation: the seals Morax used were eroding over time… he doubt it is purely accidental that the traveller wound up in the centre of both events.
Of all the Gods Morax had put to rest, there was one that Xiao feared the most: his old master, the one who had enslaved him in his youth and the one Morax had freed him from. If his master were to awaken again… would Aether be able to stop him?

Summary
Aether had left for Inazuma.
Xiao wonders how the traveller would react when he returns. Will he cry? Probably. Aether can be such a crybaby at times.
Or perhaps Aether will never find out. Perhaps his travels will take him far away from Liyue and give him no reason to return. Maybe he will make new friends along the way and forget about everything about him.
Xiao can only hope.
After all, he would hate to see Aether cry.
