Summary
At some point Leo had gotten up and riffled through the cupboards, returning with a single slice of bread, a bit of cheese, and some dried berries. Donnie and Splinter idly chatted, Raph joining in at points. Mikey talked to Leo about the book he was reading, something about how it was a vampire novel that predated Dracula and how it was most likely sent to burn because of the erotic and queer themes.
For a moment, just one moment, the world was calm.
And then it wasn't.
A strange sound and smell clouded Raphael's senses. He abruptly stood and looked to the ceiling, zeroing in on the sound.
"Everyone out." His voice was stern as he ushered his siblings and father out of the room; first Leo who briskly walked down the hallway, then Donnie and Mikey, and after them Raph and Splinter.
Then the world crumbled.

Everyone lost something when Splinter and Raphael died. The Resistance lost a hero. April and Cassandra lost a friend and sparring partner. Leonardo, Donatello and Michelangelo lost their father and eldest Brother. Everyone was coming to terms with their deaths.
Everyone except Donnie.

Summary
First tmnt work I've actually published so be kind (but constructive criticism is welcome). Read this in whatever context you want I guess. 'Sibling' used to describe Donnie because I head cannon him as gender-fluid because why not. I may or may not be projecting my own issues onto Donnie lol. Basically Donnie hasn't been eating and has body issues so Mikey does his best to help. Have fun :)

Summary
Leo’s got a new friend.
Dumb, impulsive, loud. It pissed Donnie off to the very max.
With Donnie's need to be confrontational, and Usagi's tendencies to run, it takes them a bit of prying and pushing to really understand their feelings and each other. Of course, they couldn't do it without the one and only Leo, and minor help from Mikey and Raph.

Summary
It's been a few months since the Krang attack on New York and the Turtles are just now starting to see things fall back into place - back to "normal".
Raph's road to recovery's been bumpy but he's okay, for the most part. Mikey's as chipper as ever, flexing his new mystic hands with style. And Leo? Leo's doing his best as the leader, keeping the peace while keeping things interesting the only way he knows how - by being his good old self.
But Donnie's been working on something in secret - something that'll hopefully turn things around for the turtles, so nothing bad ever happens to them again. But the road to hell is paved with good intentions, proving once again that nothing can be normal for long in the city of New York.
