Summary
Peter doesn’t remember much of the kindness his Parents or Aunt and Uncle showed him. The blood on his hands that he didn’t want. The scars and brands he earned from never breaking, for never not choosing kindness.
Or, Peter Parker is a Hydra lab rat, and has never wanted anything more then to live a life of peace, kindness and love.

“They have Peter,” Erik's voice is breaking. “They have our son.”
The teacup Charles was holding shatters on the floor. “What happened?”
Erik's trembling hands produce the package that had been dropped on the mansion's doorstep. A tuft of silver hair spills onto Charles’ desk, along with a typed letter and a polaroid.
“They said they want information about Cerebro. They know I helped you build it. And I – I put Peter in danger, taking him in. This is my fault.” Erik all but collapses into Charles. “He doesn't know anything about Cerebro, but they don't know that. They're hurting him, Charles.”
Charles Xavier is not a vengeful person. But one look at the Polaroid on his desk fills him with an unusual rage. Peter's kidnappers had cut his hair – and scalp in some places – and there were bruises flowering across his face. There's no telling what damage has been done to the rest of his body.
“Erik,” Charles whispers, rubbing his husband's shaking shoulders. “We're going to get him back. No matter what it takes. We're going to bring our son home.”

Honestly, Foggy’s just kind of grateful that the unconscious dude in the alley by his apartment isn’t beat up as bad as Matt was when he found him that first time.
He also kind of thinks it says a lot about his life right now that those are his feelings on the subject, but it’s best not to analyze that.
Where Foggy accidentally becomes bros with the Avengers, Foggy and Matt talk it out, and the Avengers and Matt don't seem to grasp the concept that the "s" in "friends" is there for a reason.
