After every fucking thing this absolute cockroach of a human being had survived, there was no way he was dying of, what, a stab wound? A random mugging? A fight gone wrong? And on Kaiba’s fucking property, no less, though he’s sure the stabbing hadn’t occurred here. What did he have to go and make it Kaiba’s problem for?
“You are not dying here, you idiot. I won’t let you. I forbid it.”
But, for once, Jounouchi doesn’t rise to Kaiba’s challenge. He remains slumped against the wall, lifeless save for the unsteady rise and fall of his chest.
