Summary
Ever since Seonghwa came home to find divorce papers sitting on the dining table about a year ago, it's become somewhat of a routine for him to frequent his local bar on Fridays after work. He savors the chance to unwind—drink in hand, as he talks to his favorite bartender, and attempts to forget the ten years of marriage now wasted.
But there's a change in this routine when his ex-husband ends up sitting on the barstool next to him with an offer he's not sure he can refuse.

you'll end up alone; he heard the words so many times in his head, playing on repeat like a broken record and digging up insecurities he never managed to get rid of, but never in his life he would have thought seonghwa – his seonghwa would be the first one to say it out loud.
“you don't mean that.” he spits through gritted teeth, eyes burning with hurt; it comes out more like a desperate plea rather than whatever hongjoong had intended to.
“I do, I do mean that – I can't go on like this.” panic seeps through hongjoong’s lungs, suffocating him, freezing the blood in his veins and squeezing around his shattered heart.

seonghwa wants a cat and engages in a big fight with hongjoong for that, this is literally the plot but i swear it's interesting
