Summary
Ted goes back to Kansas to his son and his ex-wife and life should be happy, right? When it isn't and Ted finds himself in the midst of a panic attack with no one to turn to, he calls up the only person he can think of: Rebecca. When both Ted and Rebecca end up reaching their breaking points, Ted has to find his way back to happiness with the one person that always makes him happy. He's built a lot in Richmond, but he finally gets the chance to build a life with the woman he loves.
Post-series Fix-it fic that gets Ted and Rebecca together, gets Roy and Keeley back together in the background, and gives Ted the happy ending he deserves surrounded by the family he built.
