Summary
A modern-day prequel to Persuasion, which also pays tribute to the Pink Floyd song "Learning To Fly". Anne Elliot is a nineteen-year-old college freshman when she meets Frederick Wentworth, an Air Force ROTC cadet, single-minded in his pursuit of flight. Spanning the mid-1990s through 2009, this story covers the entire pre-Persuasion back story, focusing on the depth of Anne and Frederick's love, and how hard they both tried to do the right thing by each other. Yet, sadly, they land in unfortunate circumstances that test them beyond their limits, young as they are, which is how they end up in Persuasion. Canon and Diversity Easter Eggs and references abound! This will be a 2-part series with a HEA at the end of Part 2.
