Summary
Daisy blinked the tears away, and let out a breath. She turned back to him and opened her mouth to say something, but the words stuck in her throat, her eyes widening in panic.
“Coulson, your arm!” she shouted, panicking.
Phil looked down.
“What…”
His arm was gone. Brown, flaky dust was settling where the limb had been, and the destruction was spreading from the stump towards the rest of his body, rapidly eradicating his legs and moving towards his head. It was too fast, there was no way to stop it.
Was this his payment to the Rider?
There was no time. He looked up, he had to say goodbye.
“Daisy…” he started, but the dust swallowed the rest of his words, and a second later, he was gone.

Summary
Phil carefully closed the remaining distance, and, in lieu of a stick, lightly poked her leg with his shoe. Still no movement. But, something about her seemed... familiar. He furrowed his brows and knelt down next to her torso, putting the ICER away. He turned her over to see her face, and jerked back as if bitten by a snake.
“Skye?” he whispered, confusion coloring his voice.
It wasn’t possible. She was upstairs, with Ward, playing cards. But, after spending so many hours sitting next to her bed after the guest house, he’d recognize her anywhere, even under the layer of grime and days old make up that covered her face.

"Oh my god." Mack murmured, burying his head in his hands. He looked at the folder in front of him, flipped open with its contents spread out across his desk. The title page showing the annoyingly energetic smile of a brownhaired, scruffy looking young man was swept carelessly to one side of the desk. Someone stepped through the open door into his tiny office. He didn't bother looking up, he could tell by the steps it was May. "What's he done now?" she asked, annoyance already audible in her voice.

Summoning every ounce of strength left in her battered form, Daisy rolled over onto her hands and knees, letting out a pained scream, panting heavily with each laboured breath. The intense agony in her arms felt like fiery tendrils creeping up to her collarbones, a stark reminder of the shattered bones beneath her cold and clammy skin. Every movement sent waves of pain rippling through her, but she refused to pass out. Refused to die among these dogs that hated her kind.

“You're bleeding too much Daisy. You need to take care of yourself. Can't fall asleep yet.” His slightly raspy voice tickled her ears as he gestured with his hand towards the medkit that sat a few inches away. She didn't move a muscle though, opting to openly stare at him instead.
“You're not real” she mumbled after a beat, with an aching heart and glassy eyes.
“I know. But that gunshot wound is.” He said, eyes shifting from her abdomen to her eyes. “And as much as I miss you, I don't want to see you so soon. Come on, grab the medkit.” Lincoln encouraged arching an almost playful brow at her.
OR
Lincoln might be gone, but that doesnt mean Daisy should join him any time soon.
