"Open your mouth," Alhaitham ordered, gripping the spoon and holding it up to Kaveh's mouth.
"Alhaitham," Kaveh gasped, faking shock as he dramatically pressed a hand to his chest. "Surely a fine young man like yourself would have the decency to take me to dinner before asking such crude things."
Alhaitham ignores his comment, rolling his eyes. "Funny. Now, sit still and open wide. You're fidgeting too much."

Kaveh starts a garden, right outside the window his drafting desk faces.
At first, it’s not much. A few sprouts here and there, and a few flowers he managed to convince Tighnari to let him transplant. Tighnari had offered to help, but Kaveh, stubbornly as ever, had refused, saying this was something he needed to do on his own.
(Tighnari has the kindness not to ask if it’s really gardening that’s on Kaveh’s mind.)
