Of all the traditions and ceremonies, the Rites of Solus were sadly Optimus’s most unfavorite. It was sad that a tradition that had brought many Primes pleasure and joy, and whom the Matrix had so many good memories was the bane of his existence. Of course, like a lot of things in the Prime’s life, the fault laid with the Senate and the ruling nobles.
The rites of Solus are a sacred ceremony where a Prime unites with their Lord Protector to bring prosperity and fertility to Cybertron. Optimus didn’t have the best luck with it for quite some time, but maybe this time things will change.
