“I’m sorry,” Jayce says quietly. His hand reaches back out, slowly, and while Viktor eyes it with as much fucking venom as he can manage, he lets it fall against his thigh, hand warm even through the hospital blankets. “Do you want me to go?”
“No,” Viktor says. “Go fetch the doctor. I need to tell them where they can stick their medical opinions.”

Summary
“Chuuya.” Dazai says, in a way that makes Chuuya think Dazai has said his name once already.
“Dazai.” He responds. When he looks up, he accidentally focuses on Dazai’s mouth, the deep raw color of the bruise growing on his cheek. Chuuya blinks, rocks on his feet, looks away.
“I said did you kill them?” Dazai asks after a long pause. His voice is uncomfortably even.
Chuuya looks at Dazai and the violence in his eyes shakes him to his core. His stomach floods with want. His toes curl in his shoes.
Chuuya nods, a jerk of his head. His ribs ache. Dazai evaluates him.
“We need to go.” Dazai says.
I am afraid of the power you hold over me, Chuuya thinks and says—
“Yeah.”
Dazai steps on a body when they leave, eyes trained elsewhere. It makes a sound like ice cracking.
Dazai doesn’t look down.
The palms of Chuuya’s hands itch.

Summary
This time, he was greeted by a new, extremely adorable face, with chubby cheeks and the smallest nose that Dazai had ever seen, all covered in freckles that are just barely visible. As if all this doesn't make him look extraordinary enough, his appearance is completed with a beautiful shade of ginger hair. Not to mention the big, blue eyes that were staring right into his soul and making him nervous.
Dazai doesn't like to feel nervous.

Alternative universe where Dazai and Chuuya are childhood best friends since kindergarten. They've always been honest with each other about everything except the feelings they've developed over the years.

Dazai absolutely can’t do this Port Mafia shit anymore. Odasaku asked him to go into the light, into the side of good, and for all hell, it was his dying wish. Record expunged, thanks to extorting Ango, a long conversation with The President, and a few hours of final considerations, Dazai is going to join the Armed Detective Agency. “If both sides are the same, become a good man.” has played on a loop in his mind for so long.
Should he have told Chuuya first? Before sneaking off into the night like a runaway teen? Probably. He’s not feeling guilty or anything though, of course. Dazai doesn’t experience guilt, right?
**Dazai joins the ADA and Chuuya hunts him down the night he leaves. A window is broken. Its complicated. Its dramatic. They are idiots who think cuddling is normal for friends. They are idiots who trip over one another again and again.**
