“No! There’s another way!” Strange shouted, the trembling in his hands increasing as another deafening rumble practically shook the statue they were on. “It’s risky, but it should work. I can cast another spell, it’ll send you away. Another universe, one where you don’t exist. Rewrite your existence out of this one. It would be like you were never here. Like you never existed. It should be enough to break the spell or confuse it at the very least.”
Peter paused, his mind mulling over Dr. Strange’s idea and what it meant. “Like I never existed… will anyone remember me? Will I ever be able to come back?”
Strange closed his eyes, a shuddering breath falling from his lips as he went quiet. After a few moments, he reopened them. “No… everyone in this universe will forget who Peter Parker was and is. Like I said, it will be like you never existed here. As for if you’ll ever be able to come back… I don’t know.”
