Summary
Regulus Black was 15 years old when the zombie apocalypse struck.
At the time, of course, it was merely a budding virus; a little deadly and prone to spreading easily, sure, but nothing the scientists in the labs couldn’t fix. And so what if news of more deaths came out in The Prophet almost every week? The government on the whole assured people that there was nothing to worry about, and that the doctors were working all hours working towards a cure and it was only a matter of time before they did, really.
That was until, of course, the half-rotted bodies that had been pronounced dead came back to life as sentient beasts with only one goal in their dead minds; spread the virus.
That’s when the attacks began.
Sooner than should be possible, the entirety of United Kingdom was overruled by the virus, the government had lost all control over the situation, only the rich were safe, and for those who weren’t rich, it was survival of the fittest from then on.
Sirius Black was 16 years old when he and his little brother took a gun in their hands for the first time and shot Walburga and Orion Black.
The Black Brothers have been on the run ever since.
