An odd sense of comfort washes over Alhaitham. Finally understood, the lack of need to elaborate his thought process and reason is now justified due to this person's presence. Though, just as he knows Alhaitham, the guy also knows how the blond works.
Like they've known each other for so long despite meeting just a few hours prior. They're mirroring images — familiar yet contrasting. Two sides of the same coin; they complement each other, incomplete when apart.
"You seem to know so much about me but you forgot to tell me your name."
"Right, I haven't — it's Kaveh. I am an ar... an artist and a barista. My café is right over there."

Even so, he indulges the kid by lifting him up and carrying him. At this close proximity, he could see their disturbing similarities - freckled pale skin, facial shape (albeit this kid having rounder cheeks), and eye color of a rare noctilucous jade.
