Fade was the first she is the Fade and the Fade is her. No one ever knew that the Fade was not just a place but a part of the first spirit to ever be born. So when Solas created the Val separating the sleeping and waking worlds he put Fade herself to sleep until the breach when the waking world touched her and woke her up.
She got pulled through to our side and now she needs to find out what happened so long ago that has caused the split between both realities. -
