Summary
Roseline had the perfect life; she had all the sustenance she desired, clothes carefully created from materials found in the depths of the hidden city, along with all the love and emotional support given to her thanks to her Mother. In the evenings, she was the great and powerful Crimson Rose, giving her all the applause and prestige she didn’t receive in the day.
Yes, her life really was perfect and she couldn’t complain.
It was perfect until 3 color coded turtles—too similar, too familiar to be coincidental—barged into her life, changing it in once simple night; in one simple fight, her carefully curated utopia was threatened to shatter.
No longer would it be just her and her mother, no longer would her nightmares stay in her mind, no longer would she be able to ignore everything that had once taken place: her Creator was alive and he was with the turtles. Those damned teenage turtles.But she would be damned if she just let her utopia fall without a fight.

"What the fuck, Katsuki?" Mitsuki demands, voice level and yet furious at the same time. "Why the hell did I have to find out about Parents' Day from an email, and not from your mouth?!"
Keeping his voice low, Katsuki grits back, "Because I knew you'd react like this, bitch!"
The back of Mitsuki's hand strikes Katsuki's face, whipping his head to the side with the force of it and he doesn't immediately move from his new position. By this point, all eyes are on him and his mother, and the room has fallen silent. With the loud thwack that rings in the air, even more so. He can already feel the bruise blooming across his tender cheek as Mitsuki's burning rage spreads to her voice.
"Don't speak to your mother like that, brat!"

katsuki had always enjoyed literature, the study of it, the analysis. he never brought it up, and no one ever asked, because what business did a kid like him have with books?
his most beloved trope was those with the misguided main characters, the hard-to-deal-with, bullheaded ones who took all those 'negatives' and channeled them towards becoming heroes. great heroes. one of katsuki's personal favorites was achilles; he turned the tide of the trojan war.
as he grew older, katsuki convinced himself he could become an influential hero like achilles. but achilles's story was a tragedy, one that began to look far too similar to katsuki's life—he could not forgo his anger, a dear childhood friend—he decided the only way to stop izuku (and himself) from reaching the fate of patroclus and achilles, was to distance himself from izuku, through whatever harsh means necessary. izuku would be grateful, later, when the "surrogate fate" passed him over.
if only katsuki had realized he was not the protagonist sooner. if only he could stop the sun from burning out.
(katsuki fixes things. it takes time.)
