So when teens find themselves grieving and struggling they do stupid things. So what? Thats what teenagers do. But when you pin someone as a 'troubled teen' things only seem to get worse.
James, Marlene and Peter don't do well at home, they don't do well at school, they make mistakes, get into fights and are labeled 'troubled'. So for everyone around them it only gets worse. Thats when they get sent to Highland school for troubled teenagers.
Regulus Black is a runner, he always wants to get away, but suddenly someone makes him want to stay.
James Potter is a 'bad kid' his parents passed away, and he has issues he refuses to see because for so long he was perfect, someone makes him see its ok to be complex.
So how do you escape labels? How do you run one last time?

The words seemed to resonate with the boy, his vulnerable tone almost like that of a distant memory.
After a while of kicking the door and rattling the handle frantically, Thomas felt his breath hitch in the back of his throat.
He then completely dismissed all of his thoughts in that moment, once the door was unlocked - he would have bolted straight out of the room, too, if it wasn't for the pair of strong arms which grabbed his shoulders all too quickly and tightly, blocking his means of escape.
"Woah, there!"
"Holy shuck!"
"Bloody hell! Looks like we've got a stranger in our room with the chops to be a runner!"

Summary
The calm before the storm.
Often, you don't realise you are experiencing the calm until the storm strikes. Only then, you become aware of how lucky you have been.
James realises, when the storm rolls in, that his whole life has been ‘the calm’. Now, he has to navigate a weather he has never sailed. James is alone in a raging ocean and no one can save him.
Will he be able to come out on the other side or is what he believes to be the storm really just the beginning of a long and gruling journey?
OR: James is not okay. But he has to be.
