She extends her arms, gift box held completely ruined, the paper ripped by the hands of the rain.
Her heart, melted, shows rays of a vulnerability she had hoped she was ready to share with someone. Her guts shrivel at the thought of sharing it with somebody whose name isn't carved upon it, but another raindrop falls over ink and his name is not readable anymore. Adrien will have to live with the fact that her attempt to love him is now in Chat Noir's possession.
Then again, Adrien will never get to know that.(Marinette tries to confess, she's left alone, under the rain and with only a cat for company.)
