Summary
Yoongi comes to a slow halt in front of the copy room on their floor, propped open by a small trash can, the sound of Jimin’s soft, shy laugh floating out to the hallway. He peeks past the door frame and finds, much to his dismay, the sight of Jimin leaning against the copier and a recent addition to the board of directors, Jeon Jungkook. He’s been a pain in Yoongi’s ass already, and the odd, flirty smile on his face is just the icing on the cake.
“I swear, you have to have, like, a magic touch or something. I always have to go down to HR to use the copy machine, this one never works for me,” Jungkook is saying, and it makes Jimin laugh again, maybe a little harder. Jungkook bumps their shoulders together, gathers his papers from the copier, and gazes into Jimin’s eyes for a little too long for comfort.
You’ve got to be fucking kidding me.
(or; Yoongi likes Jimin, but it turns out that he isn’t the only one in the office who does.)

Summary
Jungkook folds his fingers behind his back as he observes Yoongi, the two of them standing across from each other from their broken-up circle. There’s something about him; he’s… pretty, Jungkook thinks. He has never thought that about a man before.
But it’s true, he supposes. Yoongi’s skin is clear and hardly has any acne scars or marks, a unique eye shape, and the sort of nose that girls would get surgery to have. Long eyelashes, too, which isn’t something that Jungkook typically notices when he meets someone new. To be honest, he doesn’t ever notice this much about anyone new, ever. Maybe it’s just because Jungkook isn’t in the same headspace as usual.
“Would you like a drink?” Yoongi asks with a careful look into Jungkook’s eyes.
(Or; Jungkook has never been at the mercy of another man before, not until he falls for Min Yoongi.)

Summary
Yoongi slows down and pulls up, parking half into the driveway. Jungkook doesn’t get out quite yet; instead, he turns to Yoongi. “So. I know this is a reach, and I don’t know if you’ve made friends out here yet, but my friends and I do like a monthly kickback sort of thing? The next one is next Saturday. Would you and your kids want to come?”
Oh. So this is a mutual feeling. It isn’t just Yoongi clinging to the only semblance of friendship he’s gotten in literal years.
“I think I would like that. I’ll check with them too,” Yoongi admits with a smile, rubbing the back of his neck. He’s not sure what to do next, it’s been that long. “Um, should I give you my number?”
(or; The collision of Yoongi Min and Jungkook Jeon brings them, their lives, and their kids together, in the most unsuspecting ways.)

Twelve years, and he still thinks like that. Twelve years, he has loved Yoongi with all his heart, and he still has a shred of doubt that Yoongi doesn’t actually feel the same way.

Summary
Jungkook shoves his phone back into the pocket of his jeans, fixing his t-shirt before pulling his coat over it. He looks relatively normal, doesn’t he?
“I was going to ask if you’re the type to crash the night, but I guess not,” Yoongi says, and Jungkook meets his eyes in the mirror. He’s dressed again too, but this time in a loose t-shirt and plaid pajama pants. Lucky him, he doesn’t have to worry about his mother breathing down his neck regarding his whereabouts. “Too bad. Thought we could go for another round in the morning.”
That sounds amazing, honestly, judging how round one went. “Maybe if you didn’t take so long to get inside me, I’d reconsider,” he says, feeling his lips curl into a smile. “I hope you know better than to insult me again.”
“It got you in my bed, so maybe I should do it again, huh?”
“Goodbye, Min Yoongi.”
(or; In a world of money, sex, and fame, Yoongi and Jungkook find each other, and in turn, get a lot more than they ever bargained for.)

Summary
4:25 a.m.
Only, Jungkook doesn’t let him. Instead he pulls Yoongi straight into his chest and restricts his movement with his arms secured around his waist, half-seated in his lap, head forced into the soft, sweet-smelling crook of his neck. Eucalyptus, somewhat mint. He smells nice. A little like fresh rainwater. Yoongi listens for the sound of raindrops pattering against the window; how didn’t he notice that before?
“You’re doing that thing again,” Jungkook murmurs.
(or; Yoongi can’t sleep.)

Summary
“Have you told anyone that we broke up?” Namjoon’s voice is so small, so shaky and afraid, in the very same tone he used when Yoongi broke up with him last week. “I haven’t.”
Yoongi clenches his jaw and chooses to lie, again. “I haven’t either,” he murmurs, averting his eyes to the ground. He realizes, then, that he would have to explain to Hoseok why he can’t share a room with his own boyfriend. At least who Hoseok thinks is Yoongi’s boyfriend. “They’ll be upset. Do you think it’ll ruin the trip?”
“Yeah. Maybe.” Namjoon pauses, his feet shuffling against the carpet. “Should we just not tell them?”
“Why?”
“You said it yourself. It might ruin the trip. You saw how excited Hoseok was. I doubt you want to kill that.”
(or; Yoongi broke up with Namjoon a week before they go on vacation with their friend. He pays the price of his actions, no matter how much it hurts.)

Summary
“I—I can’t,” Jungkook chokes out between his giggles, curling his toes, shoving Jimin back with the heel of his palm. The thought of Jimin suddenly acting all romantic with him is just weird and hilarious. “Jimin—Jimin-hyung, I can’t—I—I can’t take it seriously.”
Jimin shakes his head, patting Jungkook’s thigh a couple of times while trying to contain his own giggles. “I get it,” he says, falling back into Taehyung’s arms. “It was—you couldn’t even pretend to be serious!”
“So Jimin’s definitely not an option,” Taehyung muses, rubbing his chin. Jungkook clutches his aching ribs as he finally catches his breath again, face warm and smile wide. He settles down, leaning his cheek against the back of the couch, curled up into a ball.
“Guys,” Jungkook says after a couple of silent minutes, not much more than their heavy breathing and the faint whir of the washing machine. Both Jimin and Taehyung look at him from the opposite side of the couch. “If we don’t find someone, I think I might die a virgin.”
(or; Jungkook is scared of starting a real relationship. What’s better than getting into a fake one instead?)

Summary
The fact that he’s going to leave this life behind weighs on his shoulders. All Yoongi has tried to do here is make himself feel as comfortable as he did before he moved, and now that he finally achieved that, he has to start over again.
Maybe it’s stupid to think that way, but Yoongi never thought he would have to go through the moving process a second time. He thought that he would simply continue growing up in Korea, go to university here, then find a job. Settle down, make friends, maybe have a family. He never really thought hard about the specifics of his future, but now the option isn’t even there.
Future Yoongi will probably miss Korea like nothing before, but the chances of him moving back without his parents are slim. What would he come for? There’s nothing here, not other than his friends, and they might just abandon him when he leaves. Yoongi doesn’t know what will happen.
(Or; Yoongi Min goes through life, from his early teen high school years, to the rough plains of managing adulthood. Either way, he always comes back to Jeon Jungkook.)

Summary
“Oh,” is the first thing the strange man says when his gaze falls upon Jungkook, the door shutting quietly behind him. His coat is thicker than anything Jungkook has owned, buttoned around his lean body, socked feet curled against the wooden floors. The man looks Jungkook up and down, and asks, “Who are you?”
“I could ask you the same thing,” Jungkook replies, hushed to not wake Abeonim. He reaches for the living room door, slowly pulling it shut.
The man shifts, evidently confused and uncomfortable, eyes darting around the kitchen with suspicion.
Jungkook stretches his neck, trying to understand more on who this stranger is. “I work here,” he continues, “for the old man who lives here.”
The man’s eyes snap back to Jungkook when he speaks. The chill on his body has only intensified with the man’s judgment, goosebumps spreading from his biceps, all the way down Jungkook’s thighs. He’s not sure if it’s the temperature or his mild fear that’s making his entire body tremble.
“For my father,” the man says.
(or; Working as an in-house nurse, Jungkook is troubled with the sudden appearance of his patient's son, Min Yoongi.)

Summary
Yoongi didn’t say anything until there weren’t any photographers lingering in front of them, but even then, his eyes zeroed on the runway, all the while his right hand found Jungkook’s knee.
“Who did you have to bribe to get in here?” Yoongi asked, tilting his chin upwards, looking anywhere but Jungkook.
Jungkook kept his breath from hitching, as the fabric separating Yoongi’s hand from his bare thigh rubbed against his skin. “Why do you always assume I bribed someone?” Jungkook asked with a huff and an eyeroll, folding his arms over his chest. Yoongi threw him a look of disbelief, a chuckle on his lips.
“Because you’re Jeon Jungkook.”
(or; Jungkook loved the game he played with Yoongi—until it suddenly didn’t feel like a game anymore.)

Summary
“Of course.” Jimin pulled back, smiled that bright way he always had, despite the tears on his face. “I invited you to come with me for this trip, didn’t I?”
All Namjoon heard was, “I invited you and not Yoongi,” and he couldn’t figure out why he hated that idea.
I’m in love with you, Namjoon almost said.
“I’m so glad you’re my best friend,” Namjoon said instead.
Lying to Jimin hurt more than anything Namjoon has ever felt in his entire life.
(or; Namjoon Kim spends eight years being in love with his best friend, Jimin Park.)

Summary
“Doesn’t it make you angry?” Jungkook asks, fury tethered to his gut, hands clenched around the arms of his plastic chair. Hoseok gives him a look—of course it does—but he doesn’t feel it the same way Jungkook does. “That someone got away with this, unscathed, and hyung is just… here. Suffering.”
“He’s gotten better,” Hoseok says, his voice oddly tender and gentle. Jungkook doesn’t recognize this version of Hoseok—this is someone different. This is someone who has gotten close to Seokjin, who cared for him and supported him when Jungkook couldn’t. This isn’t the person who used to scheme and steal with Jungkook. “You know that it’s wrong.”
“Is it?” Jungkook isn’t so sure about that. Inherently, yes—it’s wrong. But in a vengeful way, Jungkook believes it is simply a means of seeking answers from an injustice. “Just because you’ve gone straight doesn’t mean I have, hyung.”
(or; When it comes to protecting the ones he loves, revenge is Jungkook’s middle name.)

“His fans will eat you alive if you do. And since it’s happening tomorrow and I can’t stop you without making Namjoon freak out, then I guess you have to do it.” Yoongi nods; exactly what he was saying. “But, again, I’ll tell Namjoon to take you off if I have to.”
Yoongi blows it off, despite the impending cloud of doom forming in his stomach. He has no idea what the next three days are about to bring him.
“What’s the worst thing that could happen?”
(or; Yoongi is forced to host a special radio for idol Jungkook, who also happens to be his ex-boyfriend.)

“I apologize. Jungkook’s a little tipsy.”
“Hyung—”
“You should join us for the department dinner next Thursday. I would love to get to know you more, Jungkook-ssi. Yoongi never brings anyone,” Director Hong says and Yoongi is—mortified by this offer. He is well aware that Jungkook only has free food floating around in his brain. “It’s a relaxed occasion. We try to conduct it for department bonding. Much less fancy than this place.”
Yoongi goes to decline, but Jungkook warmly exclaims, “Sure!” and Yoongi nearly punches him in the face for it. Jungkook continues to smile politely. “I’d love to.”
(or; When Yoongi is up for a promotion at work, Jungkook forms a plan to be each other's fake fiancé, but it doesn't exactly go accordingly.)

“Do you like hotteok?”
Jungkook shoots up at the sound of an unfamiliar voice, someone holding out steaming hotteok. The boy from the bench stands a few feet away, smiling softly, eyes welcoming. Jungkook accepts the hotteok with a bow, and takes a grateful first bite. The syrup melts into his mouth. Just what he needed.
“Your voice is… amazing,” the boy says, nibbling on his own hotteok, eyeing Jungkook as he eats. The boy’s hair is long and black, fluttering in the summer breeze, framing his face beautifully. There’s a silver piercing in his septum. Jungkook’s awestruck by him. “I’ve never seen you here. Do you usually busk somewhere else?”
“No, no,” Jungkook says, laughing with a shake of his head. He shoves another bite of hotteok in his mouth. “This is my first time. I’m just doing it for some extra income. Thank you, though.”
The boy nods, but he’s hiding most of his face behind what’s left of his hotteok. “I’m Yoongi,” he says, lowering the pancake with a smile. Jungkook smiles back at him, intrigued.
(or; Jungkook came to Seoul to find himself, but instead he found a boy and the moon.)

“Did you guys meet?” Taehyung asks, gesturing between Yoongi and his friend. He smiles, dripping sarcasm, putting his arm around his friend’s shoulders. Yoongi has no interest in formally meeting any of Taehyung’s friends. “Hyung, this is Jungkook. Jungkook, this is my insufferable stepbrother, Min Yoongi.”
Yoongi rolls his eyes. “Next time you’re here, Jungkook-ssi, take off your shoes,” he says, his patience already wearing thin considering he’s only been in America for twenty-four hours. Something about Americans are just rubbing Yoongi the wrong way. “And ring the doorbell.”
(or; When Yoongi reluctantly moves to New York for school, the last thing he expects is to get wrapped up in the business of his stepbrother's best friend.)

what happens when
He stops. When what? Yoongi sighs and deletes the search, letting his thumbs hover.
why do i feel weird when
Yoongi backspaces again. That doesn't feel like the right question either. He bites the inside of his cheek, the same spot he was gnawing at earlier. Blood drips onto his tongue, smooth and metallic. Yoongi curses under his breath and sits up, bunching up a tissue to press to the inside of his mouth. He stares at his phone, picking it up with his left hand to type decisively.
what does it mean when i find another guy pretty
(or; Yoongi's sexuality crisis is caused by a pretty boy who orders one of everything.)
