Summary
Jensen has never gotten over the loss of Colin, his childhood friend and only love, who died tragically. The only things he has left of his lost love are an old picture, the ring he gave Colin, and the child they had together. Jensen was never able to love again, he married only for convenience and enlisted himself in the army to try and have a purpose in life. Jensen just can’t help it, his heart has been ripped from his body, and his soul was shattered irrevocably the moment Colin stopped breathing, leaving Jensen only a shell of a man with a stone interior.
Miles away, Jared grew up in a monastery after being abandoned by his mother. The time is coming for him to take the vows and become a monk, but Jared knows there’s another call in his heart. He must decide to either stay forever or leave the only home he has ever known because he feels there’s somewhere else he needs to be and someone out there is waiting for him. And Jared hopes he can finally find out why he keeps dreaming about a very peculiar rose.
