    “He’s changing,” said the healer as she crouched over Jaskier and peeked under one of his eyelids.

    “Changing into what?” Geralt asked.

    “I don’t know. I would need to know what curse was placed upon him.”

    Geralt groaned and looked at Jaskier resentfully, passed out cold on the floor of an elegant Novigrad suite.

    'Goddamnit,' he thought, 'Why don't you ever listen to me?'

    (aka, Jaskier gets himself cursed and begins transforming into some sort of creature. Geralt knows he shouldn't be into it, but he's VERY into it. Monsterfucking ensues.)

    A gift to the Warlord, that’s what Jaskier is. What he is too, is a chained-up Siren without a voice. They took him from his sea, bound him in silver, took away his voice and put him in a tank to become entertainment to the royals of Redania. He’s been reduced to an quiet, defenceless creature, to be gawked and laughed at. And now he might die at the hands of a Witcher. Is it bad that he longs for it? For finally being at peace?

    When the Warlord of the North overthrows several kingdoms, all of Redania is desperate to please him. They send him the biggest gift of all. A Siren without a voice.
