Summary
The Black Mesa Research Facility is turned upside down when a Resonance Cascade devastates the underground complex, being consumed by cosmic horrors as the normalities of everyday life crumbles around those who once called it home. Work colleagues Gordon Freeman and Barney Calhoun have no choice but to gear up and face the many horrors head on, side by side. They fight for survival admist hoards of worldly and otherworldly troops, encountering hostiles and eventually confronting deep-seated feelings.

Summary
Gordon's helmet seems to be lost, and he decides that it isn't worth spending more time to look for it when he's already late for the experiment. This choice leaves him disfigured; marred forever.
Or; a retelling of Half-Life where Gordon suffers the (semi-)realistic effects of being only a few yards away from the Resonance Cascade blast without his helmet. Oh, and Barney's with him too, lest this alternate universe be too boring.

Summary
A series of short and (hopefully) humorous stories that are mostly post-Portal 2, concerning the one and only Doug Rattmann, who is still alive and now working for GLaDOS as the facility caretaker. He's handling things surprisingly well, especially considering that the year is 52167, his colleagues are all robots in varying states of disrepair and dilapidation, and the only other human around is Chell, an abnormally tenacious but nonvocal woman with a unique penchant for destroying expensive scientific research facilities...
Some of these stories are quite old (c. 2012), some are not as old as that (c. 2018) and some are fairly new (c. 2022), but all have been revised, edited, punched-up, and some now even have little pictures to go with them (if it helps). As a bonus, I’ve also included a lengthy and informative Aperture Timeline, plus some other lines that I spent way too much time on.
