“Really,” you say. “If you wanted me to invite me to your bedroom, Raphael, you could have tried asking nicely. You know, without the dramatics.”
“Darling—” Astarion begins, just as Karlach says:
“What the fuck—”
But they’re drowned out by Raphael’s laugh, cold and mocking, and his eyes are only for you. His gaze seems to pin you in place.
“Your bravado is almost admirable,” he says. “I will enjoy breaking you from it.”
“Well, I think I can spare you five minutes or so,” you shrug. “If that’s really how you want to do this. Or am I overestimating him, Haarlep?”
That earns you a laugh from the incubus — your laugh — and another flash of fury in Raphael’s eyes.
This is not wise. You know it isn’t. You should stop provoking him.
You won’t, though.

Summary
Summer is here at last, bringing scorching days and balmy nights. For the bear, it brings with it a different sort of heat, clawing just beneath Halsin’s skin, desperate to be set free despite Halsin’s attempts to contain it.
Halsin is loath to put aside his responsibilities to soothe that need, but Tav insists. His heart always has enjoyed a challenge, and Halsin does not have the will to deny Tav, or himself.
It will be a summer to remember.
