“Am I a good match so far?” Sunwoo asks, teases, not really expecting any actual answer.
There’s something new that hasn’t been here the entire night. Some sort of honesty that’s so bare, it sheds its skin. “This has been the highlight of my week,” Haknyeon tells him, simple as that.
Sunwoo skipped out on his late afternoon class for this, matching his time to Haknyeon’s rotating shift. Gets a soft knuckle on his forehead on the drive back and the most stubborn grin latched on.
Car rides, kind eyes. The validity of love comes with a breaking back when it’s only one side that’s doing the most.

Summary
The sun shines a scorching one outside, the summer heat gets into his shop and it’s not an exaggeration when it tends to make his skin itch. Haknyeon rivals the stark spectacle though and Sunwoo’s breath hitches a little. It’s an entirely different sort of itchiness that crawls up his throat.
There’s a new bakery opening across the street. Sunwoo and his sighing flowers are under the tides quicker (and deeper) than he can comprehend.

“Maybe,” Sunwoo replies airily. He slides off the stage, a single stride over the lump lying on the hard floor. A couple of more steps until he’s standing in front of a pointed gun. “It doesn’t matter. You’re still attracted to me though so what does it say about you?”
That Haknyeon’s gone out of his mind to even be entertaining the idea.
In the midst of Sunwoo being identified as a renegade by the corporate they're under, things get better (for Haknyeon) before they get worse (also for Haknyeon.)
