Summary
Sunny steps outside for the first time in...how much time?
He's met with a vastly different world from what he remembered; Aubrey is being viciously bullied for no apparent reason; Kel is a dangerous, violent delinquent; Hero is completely absent, and Basil is desperately trying to hold together what remains of the friend group. These are not the friends he remembers. At least his dear sister Mari will probably be home from college soon.
How did things go so badly? What happened? Can it be fixed?
He feels as if he should remember something...but it's probably not important.

Summary
Connie Swap is a narrative fanfic with Connie as the gem hybrid trying to live up to the expectations put on her by her guardians (Peridot, Lapis, and Jasper), her dad (Doug), and the long shadow cast by her mom (Citrine). Connie's adventure begins with Episode 1: Gem Glow and it quickly diverges from there.
Connie Swap draws inspiration from the show but it reinterprets as it goes: Connie is a very different protagonist than Steven and these are very different Crystal Gems. Each episode contains original art and several contain original songs.
