Can one broken Jedi stop the darkness that is to come?
It has been years since the devastating end of the Mandalorian War, but Meetra still bears its scars. Though the Republic may have won, the cost was high. Trillions have died, entire planets have been cleansed of life, leaving a wound in the Force. Few Jedi survived Revan’s crusade, and those who did have all either died or vanished. During her exile, Meetra was cut off not only from the Force, but from other sentient beings, left to battle her trauma and guilt in isolation. Now she’s returned to the galaxy, but she is only just beginning to put herself back together.
Realizing that they were being targeted through the Force by a hidden adversary, the Jedi Order scattered in an attempt to draw out their attackers. Jedi Master Atris called for a conclave on the Mid Rim world of Katarr to assess the threat. However, the conclave was interrupted when every single Jedi attending vanished without a trace, along with all life on the planet. According to the galaxy, Meetra is the last surviving Jedi, even if she isn’t sure she can call herself one anymore. But it’s up to her to discover the true nature of this threat and stop it, before the galaxy pays the price…

A character piece portraying Meetra's gradual descent to the dark side, over the course of her search for the Jedi Masters. Forgotten by the Republic, cast out from the Order, and abandoned by Revan, the Exile fights only for herself and her crew. But as old resentments and new fears take root in Meetra's soul, will even her friends be enough for her in the end?
Mostly spans the events of TSL without being a novelization.
A prologue to my series, Fate of the Lost Jedi, which will continue the story of the KotOR games, ignoring TOR and the subsequent EU/canon timeline. Can be read on its own, though.

Verfolgt von ihren Taten und verlassen von jenen, die sie als ihre Familie ansah, nahm sie ihren neuen Titel an und reiste zu den Planeten in den Outer Rim. Sie beabsichtigte, vollständig zu verschwinden und für eine gewisse Zeit, gelang es ihr.
Doch jetzt, fast ein Jahrzehnt später, befand sich Meetra dabei, aus ihrer Isolation raus gezerrt und in eine Nachwirkung eines Konflikts, den sie gedanklich lange hinter sich gelassen hatte, hineingeworfen zu werden. Meetra Surik is the Jedi Order's greatest example of punishment: branded an Exile, her only reward for returning from the Mandalorian Wars untainted by the Dark Side, and cut off from the Force itself. Haunted by her actions and forsaken by those she considered family, she embraced her new title and departed to the Outer Rim planets, intending to disappear entirely, and, for a time, she succeeded.
But now, nearly a decade later, Meetra finds herself dragged out of her isolation and thrust into the fallout of a conflict she thought long behind her. A new war is coming, and though she is no longer a Jedi, Meetra has a choice to make: save the Republic and the ideals of those who cast her out, or take her vengeance and aid in its destruction.
A retelling of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic: The Sith Lords, with some canon divergence to reflect the choice-based narrative. Some dialogue has been taken directly from the game, but effort is/will be made to keep this to a minimum. All characters, with a couple exceptions, belong to EA/Bioware/Obsidian/LucasArts; this is merely the relation of events and characters through my personal filter.
