Summary
Initially when Jack started making Louis assist him in household matters Louis was rather dismayed, he saw no value in the work and couldn’t understand how it would benefit anyone. He wasn’t one to complain of course so he simply got on with the tasks assigned to him by the former soldier, but that didn’t stop the disappointment bubbling within himself as he worked around the house, fixing up flower pots and dusting cobwebs. The cleaning in itself wasn’t the problem and had their been any actual mess, Louis may have enjoyed helping to keep the Rothwell manner free of the dirt and much you’d expect from a large household however that wasn’t the case due to the amount of staff everywhere making cleaning an exhausting task given how spotless everything was.
Louis had resigned himself to a dull few months whilst he waited for his application for his schooling to come through until one day he walked past the kitchen and suddenly became enthralled by a delightful symphony of sights and smells. That was the day he felt something akin to passion that wasn’t related to the Moriarty plan, the day he discovered cooking.
(Or 5 times Louis made something for someone else and one time someone made something for him)

Sam had read them all. With his bad leg, and Brother Adam and Marcus busy with work, he couldn't really do much else to pass the time but read. He couldn't spend his days endlessly nagging Maggie, who, for all her kindliness, also had her own duties to attend. Or, moreso, he wouldn't—he wanted to grow up to be a gentleman like his brother, after all.
With nowhere to go and a mind craving stimulation and a challenge, Sam read… and he met Cassandra.

"Huh? I didn't shoot him though!" Defend the Officer.
"Really? Then why does he have a bullet hole on his jacket? It missed him but definitely his jacket. And you're holding a gun too." Kamosemi said. Officer Isshiki looks at his gun and then the very obvious hole on the bottom left of Kawasemi's suit jacket then back at the gun. Dawn of realization hits the officer as he struggles to apologize.
"I'm so sorry Kawasemi-san! I almost hit you! Oh my god I'm so sorry I really didn't mean to do it! I'm so sorry I'm so sorry–"
"It's alright, Officer Isshiki." Kawasemi held his hand up to stop the Officer who looks like he's close to tears while his weird friend stands on the side with a very amused smile. "At least you didn't hit me. And you saved my life as well. You have my thanks."
His gratitude didn't seem to be taken lightly as Officer Isshiki started bawling his eyes out as soon as he said that.
Aka five times someone was suspicious about Toto and one time someone found out why. The history in this is based off Moriarty the Patriot. Have fun!

It’s difficult, at first, to narrow down the possible candidates from William’s reference of a single petal, but he manages to bring it down to five, then three, then two, then one.
Anemone is the name neatly inscribed in cursive at the top of the page. William’s fingers brush across the letters as he reads the information on the page—natural habitat, flowering conditions, range of colors, meaning—
William’s fingers still.
Anemones symbolize a forsaken love.
William reads the line, then reads it again. For good measure, he reads it a third time.

William smiled.
Locum tenens.
A latin phrase, meaning “to hold the place of, to substitute for.” Referring to one who temporarily takes the place of another. Most often used in reference to doctors or clergymen.
But not always.
Mirth shone in William’s eyes.

What if the reciprocation was misunderstood to be otherwise, and it took them a separation to fully realize what their hearts had been whispering to their head? What if the separation reversed their roles and now Liam had to care for a broken Sherlock on top of mending that frayed red thread connecting them?
I guess sometimes it takes an extended period of time to reflect on what you lost to regret you ever let it slip. It may be overdue, but Liam definitely won’t let Sherlock go again—not after 2 years of feeling like a part of him was absent.
