From the moment Toshinori had heard the family name, he no longer wanted to entertain the idea behind Mirai's plan. In a last-ditch effort to contain his emotions, he pinched the bridge of his nose and closed his eyes. It didn't help. All he could think of was that the plan centered around the Midoriyas; this loving, innocent family, who deserved nothing more than to be kept away from All for One as far as possible, not to be dragged even deeper into this mess of Toshinori's past regrets.
Sensing his hesitation, Mirai adopted a slight softer, warmer tone of voice. “Think on it,” he said. “There is nothing to lose in this. The risks are near non-existent.”
---------------------Or: Inko wants to enroll Izuku at U.A. for the sake of his education, but she needs a husband with a non-criminal background to get her son accepted. Sir Nighteye made up a fool-proof plan for Toshi to reclaim One for All from eight-year-old Tomura that just so happens to involve enrolling Izuku at U.A. Both Inko and Toshinori hesitate to go for the obvious solution, but then the time to part ways draws near. Do they even want to go back to their old lives?

When he turned to look at him, the older boy swayed his head around like it wasn't properly affixed to his neck. “Aw, if you want him back so badly, why don't you come and get him?” His strange, wrong, mad grin widened by a touch.

“Hush, we’re helping him.” Fluff– Oboro- said cheerfully. “You like heroes?”
It feels like a trap. Like when Dad asks, asked him if he liked heroes and then yelled. But Tenko nodded slowly, Oboro’s grin widening.
“That’s fun! Who’s your favorite? I like All Might but Shouta- the other guy with me- is a sourpuss and says he smiles too much.”
“He does. I’m worried a villain will knock out his teeth.” Shouta said from where he was standing, voice carrying no emotion at all. Tenko couldn’t help the giggle that bubbled up at the sentence though and Oboro pouted in a fake way that reminded him of Hana when she was teasing him.Or: Instead of All for One finding a scared Tenko Shimura post his quirk manifestation, two heroes in training do.
