However, with a new lease on life and a promise to continue where his wife's research left off while balancing being Kanai Ward's one and only Detective again(for the time being) Yakou has a lot of work to do but with the help of a certain CEO of Amaterasu Corporation he won't have to do it alone.
A.K.A a Post Game Rain Code AU where Yakou and Makoto become like family and work together to not only bring peace to Kanai Ward but hopefully help bring back those who have "died" during the game! I hope you guys will enjoy it I know it's not a perfect fic but I'm already having so much fun making it.

Desuhiko Thunderbolt, God of the Sun, is a popular performer who loves to sing for his fans. His favorite person in the universe however is Yuma Kokohead, God of the Moon. The two have a special bond even the other planet gods don't fully understand, but the two don't mind.
While they just want to live in peace among mortals, something is happening that has caught all the gods interest. The Sun, Moon and all other planetary bodies have not seen Kanai Ward for months at this point. The gods need to step in and solve this mystery before it gets out of hand and makes the mortals worry. Although they all have a strong suspicion that Yomi Hellsmile, God of Pluto, has something to do with it. What is actually happening though?

Desuhiko Thunderbolt spends his days serving coffee and writing music. While he doesn't get to see colour properly due to not having met his soulmate yet, he still loves it when he gets to see the colour purple, the colour of his future soulmates eyes and therefore the only colour he has ever been able to see.
Yuma Kokohead is very similar in that regard. He spends his days working at a detective agency, but when life gets tough, he can always relax by taking a walk in the park and being surrounded by the calming green, the only colour he can see.
How will the two react when they finally lock eyes with their soulmate and their world explodes with colour for the first time?

Desuhiko Thunderbolt is super excited to celebrate his first Valentine's Day with Yuma Kokohead and has been going over board planning and making sure he can give him the best day possible, but he's worried his man just isn't really excited by spending the day with him as he hasn't been that enthusiastic. Not that Yuma means to, he's just unsure on what Valentine's Day is thanks to his amnesia, but feels like he missed his chance to ask his boyfriend about it and will make it awkward if he asks now, the day before.
Hopefully Yakou can help Yuma out so they can be on the same page before the two end up having an argument.

This life, or at least all he remembers of it, has been nothing but pain and trouble. First he wakes up with nothing to say for who he is and not even a single coin to his name. A name he isn't even sure is his, seriously what kind of last name is Kokohead? He learned he can't die, cause apparently he formed a pact with a Death God and now can't die by any means aside from getting said Death God to kill him, in which she refuses despite the fact he was literally burning to death.
Now nothing much but a shambling charred zombie(?) of a human detective, he really doesn't actually want to do this detective stuff anymore and really wants to go sleep for the next year-
This scarred, trembling ball with limbs is Yuma, and he just wants to be left alone.
But apparently a mangled burn scar of a human the size of most kids attracts quite a bit of attention from other Master Detectives called to this ward. He doesn't need 'help' thank you very much, he's doing fine on his own reluctantly solving mysteries and becoming a cryptic legend!
That's fine, he's fine. And would be doing much better if he was left alone!
