He grabbed Calcharo by the arm, pulling him to a secluded corner of the Ghost Hounds headquarters. His face was tense.
"Calcharo, you need to stop flirting with Jiyan," Mortefi warned, his voice firm.
Calcharo raised an eyebrow in surprise. "Flirting? I'm not doing anything."
Mortefi frowned. "Don't lie to me. You know your reputation is... complicated. I don't want Jiyan to get involved with you."
Calcharo smiled, a dangerous glint in his eyes. "And why do you care?" Mortefi stiffened.
"Because Jiyan is a valuable friend and I don't want you to put him at risk." Calcharo chuckled softly.
"You're worried about the wrong guy, Mortefi."
Mortefi is worried that Calcharo might be interested on Jiyan. He cannot let this happen.
