Summary
Though Dawn goes down to Day...
"I was crazy, you know that, kid? Crazy for wantin' Johnny to stay outa trouble, for not wantin' him to get hard. If he'd been like me he'd never have been in this mess. If he'd got smart like me he'd never have run into that church. That's what you get for helpin' people. Editorials in the paper and a lot of trouble.... You'd better wise up, Pony... you get tough like me and you don't get hurt. You look out for yourself and nothin' can touch you..."
He said a lot more stuff, but I didn't get it all. I had a stupid feeling that Dally was out of his mind, the way he kept raving on and on, because Dallas never talked like that, but I think now I would have understood if I hadn't been sick at the time. ~S.E. Hinton, The Outsiders, p 147
(Or, if Ponyboy had talked back to Dally in the car, and if the two of them let Johnny know what they could -and were willing to!- do to help him.)

Summary
"Cherry," Ponyboy remembers her clearly, before everything else. The shade of red hair on her that was brilliant even in their circumstances, the look on her face that he'd taken for friendship and not politeness, the red stain on her cheeks when she'd been sobbing in the funeral home on her side. "Cherry Valance. She's been in a couple of pictures, and they're trying to set her up. They want her on my movie and I can't — I can't have her in that role, Mene. Not when I wrote it about Johnny."
Christmas 1943. Ponyboy talks to his oldest brother about his misgivings over a role that Cherry Valance, the newest blazing star in Hollywood, is set to take.
His objection is rather personal.

Summary
It makes the scars on Ponyboy's fingers and forearm look that much more interesting as he lights the end of his cigarette, his hazel eyes focused on it. It was similar to how he'd looked when they'd met in August: Ponyboy fumbling with his lighter, Dallas exiting the club, seeing him beneath the streetlight, alone with rain in the air, his shirt half buttoned and his scent so intriguing Dallas had approached him all on his own.
Just like then, once his cigarette is lit, Ponyboy looks up at him with a half smile on his face, his teeth slightly crooked, turned inward, and the freckles on his face cute in the kitchen light. "You want some?"
November 6th, 1942. Dallas has a night with his boyfriend while his son slumbers on.

Summary
Ponyboy shifted uncomfortably, rubbing the back of his neck. "I... didn't think you'd let me in."
"I shouldn’t have," I muttered, unable to keep the bitterness from my voice. "Do you know how long it’s been, Pony?”
Pony flinched, shoulders sagging, but didn’t answer.
“10 years. 10 years, without a word.”
(or, soda is dead, the gang falls apart, and ponyboy moves to new york to be a writer at just 16. after 10 years, the remaining curtis brothers reunite.)

I had an idea over the course of a few days and it spiraled into this not-so-explicit, overly poetic, very very gay Johnnyboy smut fic.

Summary
Johnny Cade, a boy whose life has been nothing but constant turmoil finds immense comfort in the Curtis’ household after his mother abandons him. Although missing a thumb and parts of his hand he is determined to make the most of it, and discovers a passion for photography.
His best friend and him haven’t left eachother alone. They heal together, live together, spend almost every breathing moment in eachothers company, and yet they don’t have enough. Johnny likes taking pictures on a busted up Polaroid, and his writer best friend might just be his favourite subject to photograph.
Aka.
The most realistic I can get a fic while still staying true to the characters and not just focusing around their sexualities, also, it’s the 60s guys let’s not get ahead of ourselves, only basic lables, if even that. -

Summary
These are little stories that members of the gang had of Johnny, because I will NEVER get over them.
Also these are not in any particular order!
(Due to the recent A03 Takedown I have backed up this entire story to Wattpad! https://www.wattpad.com/1361263541-stopping-for-a-second-table-of-contents )
