This so called Captain will stop at nothing until the two of them are friends - Oh how tiring!Though as they spend more time together as they grow up, their feelings turn into something different all together...
A series of non-linear one shot Kaebedo drabbles. Mostly fluff, some angst. Will focus on mostly Kaeya & Albedo during their lives in Mondstadt but other characters will appear. This is mostly Kaeya and Albedo pining for each other. I must warn you I take the 'Slow Burn' tag very seriously! Mostly set before current events in the game & the events in the webtoon.

Albedo wonders how synthetic humans can have soulmates. Or if they can. He has never been able to see colors, but he'd accepted that he probably never will. His creator did not give him the ability to see colors so he could fit in with humans, he assumed. Or maybe, she could not see color herself when he was made, so she didn't have the ability to base his creation on what it was like. He didn't know, but he'd accepted it. Kaeya, Jean, Lisa, others would label the vials with colors for him. He made do.
Then, Kaeya introduced him to the new traveler that just arrived in Mondstadt.

Kaeya’s almost constant smirk can get tiring to look at for Albedo. No verbal communication and he’s already tired of interacting for the day, alongside a nagging annoyance in the side of his head for the next hour. He doesn’t think the captain is a bad person or that there’s anything bad about him on a surface level.
Albedo knows that he can be genuine at times. he himself has seen that smirk fade away in real time when Kaeya plays around with Klee. There’s no way he’d be able to draw Kaeya in any capacity with the smirk, but with that smile… he feels like he almost has to draw that subject matter.
(short summary: Albedo devises a plan to get Kaeya to smile the longest so he can properly draw him, and all of a sudden he realizes he gets kinda nervous when he sees that smile so he doesn’t know what to do. He could just ask him on a date idk though)
