Summary
It had already been a while since Will had become aware of who Hannibal truly was. But Will still hadn't come to terms with who he really was. The more he accepted his so-called hallucinations as part of him, he realized they might not be something so apart from himself, but something he had pushed deep down since he could remember, and Hannibal was the one who managed to bring it out of him. It made him hurt so bad, but then Hannibal was there next to him and he felt seen, he felt understood, he felt accepted. Like he could truly be himself and he wouldn't have to deny all those ugly thoughts that were desperate to burst out of him.

Summary
Will had been betrayed by the one he trusted the most. By the one he loved more than anything else. And a hurt like this doesn't go away that easy. Will had done everything he could think of to get Hannibal out of his system but nothing seemed to work. He had no other choice. He had to end Hannibal’s life with his own hands.
Or, Will plans to kill Hannibal but ends up having sex with him instead.

Summary
Will Graham stretches himself so far he snaps, and authenticity loses its appeal. He's not even twenty when he abandons the name his pops gave him and tries on the myriad of personalities he's encountered as a beat cop for a change.
He settles into Neal Caffrey the best he can, but his designer suits itch and his skin stretches painfully when he smiles. There's a burner phone in a storage unit and baseball tickets for Peter in his blazer pocket, two paths he could take. In the end, it isn't a choice at all: there's a reason he was so comfortable as a conman, as a mess of contradictions and different personality traits. The world fades away when what he wants comes into focus.
He leaves, and he starts answering to his name before all names again, settles into an image of the life he was supposed to have, supposed to live before he gave it all away.
Will Graham just never expects those two lives, two identities, to ever intersect.

Summary
“I didn’t tell them what I discovered,” Matthew continues, either oblivious to or uncaring of his mixed emotions, “but, then again, neither did you.”
Will opens his eyes just to roll them. “I did tell them. That’s why they deemed it best to lock me in a cage.”
Matthew clicks his tongue, sauntering over to him until he’s directly below where Will is suspended from the ceiling. He can feel his heart pounding against his ribs as Matthew smirks up at him. “But you knew the truth long before they locked you in a cage."

Summary
1: "I let you in. I let you know me. I let you see me."
"You wanted to be." Will retorts, because he can't help but argue even as he's bleeding out.
"By you," Hannibal says2: "How is Chiyoh?"
"She pushed me off a train."
Hannibal chuckles and Will wants to bottle up that sound forever, just so he can hear it over and over again, "Atta' girl."3: "I don't have your appetite." Hannibal blinks, staring at him with glassy eyes, "Goodbye."
4: "Think about me" Hannibal's voice echoes in his head, and his own echoes back "I don't want to think about you anymore."

Summary
Will can still feel his fingers, but they are harder to move now, like he’s throwing punches underwater. Proper daylight is nothing but a memory at this point; he feels like the test subject of an experiment that’s gone wrong.
Hannibal Lecter is hardly helping things.
“I can’t get you out of my head,” Will admits the first time they see each other through bars. He drags his hand down his wrist and tries to map what his skin feels like — cold, cold, cold.
Balancing on the precipice of Will Graham's life are Hannibal Lecter and Abigail Hobbs. Both know him a little too closely for comfort.

In treating children as prey, you raise predators, and remain transfixed by their teeth as they flash in the dark as no threat but a promise; all out of love by Tobi_Black

Summary
Dr. Lecter was the perfect example of a wolf in sheep's clothing; a predator hiding itself among its prey, licking its lips and eyeing its next meal. Even as Will caught sight of those teeth, he did not feel afraid because while he was no wolf, he was no sheep either; with blood on his dull teeth and eyes glinting sharply in the dark.
Around and around, they circled, eyeing each other as they tried to divine if the other was friend or foe; if the other was a threat that had to be struck down or a like-minded fellow that they'd let pass uncontested. The problem was that Will didn't know which Dr. Lecter was.
