Weyoun notices Isabella's interest in him and sees it as an opportunity to learn about human mating rituals, so they start a sex arrangement without strings attached. Just when Isabella realizes she actutally caught feelings, Weyoun leaves and the war begins. Is it for the best or will they get a chance at love?

This is kind of a one-shot fic. It's a scene that I wrote for my long fic about the Dominion Occupation of Deep Space Nine but I'm re-writing it to be from Damar's POV (I've got too many POVs already). However, I really enjoyed writing Ziyal and this scene from her perspective so I thought I'd whack it on here to save it. With that in mind, there may be a few references to things that happen in the rest of the fic, but overall I think it's pretty self-contained.
It takes place at the party, which Dukat throws for Ziyal to celebrate getting her work into the Cardassian art museum. Naturally, he uses it as a chance to show how great he is!I hope you enjoy!

Damar didn't seem impressed. "Gul Dukat oversees security, Ziyal. Don't assume I enjoy this assignment any more than you do."
"And yet you lick my father's boots at every opportunity you get!"
Damar seemed slightly taken aback, or maybe just disgruntled at being spoken to so harshly. "Just go to bed, Ziyal. I'm sure none of your little friends would appreciate it if you showed up at Quark's with me in tow."
Ziyal puffed up her cheeks, then swiftly stepped past Damar. "Oh, I bet."
Damar was obviously caught off-guard by that - he clearly had anticipated for her to acquiesce and simply go to bed so they wouldn't have to spend time with each other. She supposed it was only fair that if she had to suffer from her father's poor choices, so did Damar.
